Source Standout Amenities with The Tournament House
Meet VRD’s newest brand partner and discover a curated source for game tables, putting greens, outdoor kitchens, grills, and other elevated amenities that help vacation rental designers create properties guests want to book.

Guests don’t book a vacation rental just because it has enough beds. They book the house with the putting green. The one with the outdoor kitchen where everyone can cook together. The one where a casual game of ping pong turns into a family tournament that gets talked about for the rest of the trip.
The best vacation rentals don’t simply give guests somewhere to stay. They give them something to do. That’s why we’re excited to welcome The Tournament House as VRD’s newest brand partner.
The Tournament House is a curated destination for luxury outdoor living, game room furnishings, and premium entertainment experiences. Its collection includes modern game tables, backyard putting greens, statement grills, outdoor kitchens, poolside entertainment, and other elevated amenities designed to bring people together.
These aren’t just decorative extras. The Tournament House founders know that the right amenities can help define a property, strengthen its marketing story, and give guests a reason to choose it over the competition.

Built From a Real Vacation Rental
The Tournament House didn’t begin with a product catalog. It began inside a vacation rental in
Scottsdale, Arizona. Founders Travis and Kristen created a property where families and friends could gather, play, and reconnect. The home included a three-hole chip-and-putt course, ping pong, poolside spaces, grilling areas, and build-your-own pizza nights.
Guests weren’t just staying there. They were doing things together.
That response inspired Travis and Kristen to bring the idea to more homes, developments, and short-term rentals. Drawing on more than 50 years of combined experience in medical sales and real estate, they built The Tournament House around curated, elevated entertainment amenities.
That perspective matters. An amenity needs to do more than photograph well. It needs to fit the property, stand up to frequent use, and give guests a memorable reason to spend time there.

A Better Conversation With Investors
Amenities can be difficult to justify when they’re presented as optional upgrades. The conversation changes when they’re tied to the property’s competitive position, the needs of its ideal guest, and the value the experience can create.
Instead of asking, “Do you want to add a game table?” ask:
What does the local market tell us about guest demand?
Which amenities appear in the area’s strongest comparable properties?
What are competing listings missing?
Will this feature appeal to the target guest?
Can we feature it prominently in the listing?
Could it encourage guests to spend more time at the property?
Could it help support the investor’s target nightly rate?
The right entertainment space can make a property more enjoyable, more memorable, and more useful to the people staying there. Data helps identify the opportunity. Design turns that opportunity into something beautiful, functional, durable, and worth talking about.
The Tournament House makes the next step easier by bringing premium game, outdoor, and entertainment products together in one curated collection.

Make the Property Part of the Vacation
Location still matters. Guests want to be close to beaches, trails, restaurants, stadiums, ski slopes, and local attractions. A strong vacation rental should also give guests a reason to enjoy the property itself. Imagine a pickle ball tournament before dinner. Pizza made together outside. A group gathered around a grill. Kids playing nearby while adults relax by the pool. Friends spending time together instead of organizing another outing.
Those are the moments guests remember—and the details they mention in reviews.
The Tournament House gives designers a way to create those moments without sacrificing the style of the home. Its collection sits at the intersection of design, leisure, and luxury, making it easier to source playful, high-performing amenities that feel considered rather than gimmicky.
